This past weekend Darrell Cox's Neon set a new world record for the fastest, FWD Unibody Neon. His car ran a 9.37 @ 149.3mph, in the quarter. This beats his old time of 9.54 and is only .04 seconds off the world record for any FWD, unibody car. This is quite impressive considering it is an automatic. With some more tuning the car has potential to break the 8 second barrier. Also, be sure to check out a nice article on Darrell's Neon, in the new issue of Turbo Magazine.
